Data stored on your device

You can use quizzes without an account. Answers, bookmarks, attempts, and study-checklist progress are stored in your browser’s local storage so they remain available on that device. You can clear this data through your browser settings.

Web analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve navigation. Vercel may process information such as the page visited, visit time, referrer, approximate country, device type, browser, and operating system. JLPT Prep does not send names or email addresses as analytics events. See Vercel’s privacy notice.

You can turn off Vercel Analytics for this browser or turn it back on.

Advertising and cookies

On pages where advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve, limit, and measure ads. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers as a result of ad serving.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Depending on your location, a consent message may appear before advertising cookies are used. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.

Service logs

The hosting provider may process technical logs such as IP address, device information, requested URLs, and timestamps to operate, secure, and diagnose the service.

Retention and deletion

Local quiz and checklist data remains until you clear it in your browser. The public site does not currently offer account sign-in. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the providers’ operational and legal requirements.
