Privacy policy
This policy describes the data handled by JLPT Prep. It is a launch-ready template that should be reviewed against the final company, domain, and consent setup.

You can use quizzes without an account. Answers, bookmarks, attempts, and study-checklist progress are stored in your browser’s local storage so they remain available on that device. You can clear this data through your browser settings.
Optional account data
If you choose to sign in, our authentication and database provider processes your email address, account identifier, and the progress you choose to sync. Database access is restricted so signed-in users can only read and write their own rows.
Advertising and cookies
When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, and measure ads. Depending on your location, a consent message may appear before personalized advertising is used. You can learn more in Google’s advertising policies.
Service logs
Our hosting, authentication, and database providers may process technical logs such as IP address, device information, requested URLs, and timestamps to operate, secure, and diagnose the service.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you clear it. Account data is kept while your account is active or as needed to operate and protect the service. Before launch, add a verified support address and account deletion workflow here.
